Andy Marr, President

Andy’s passion is serving others. He is constantly looking for the best way to provide solutions. Andy is a natural leader and business man, learning basic business qualities from his father in his early years on the family farm.

After graduating in 1990 from Mount Allison University, Andy excelled in the business world. Starting as an Account Manager at Hawk Communications, he than became the Atlantic Regional Sales Representative for Bowne of Montreal. Throughout his journey at Hawk and Bowne he learned irreplaceable corporate knowledge in how to provide outstanding client service and build great teams. Andy not only excels today in the corporate realm, but he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and being active in his community.


 

Craig Evans, Strategic Counsel

Craig has the ability to delve into details. He is a strategic thinker and can do a systematic analysis of any given situation.

After studying for his MBA at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Craig was a part of the Senior Advertising Agency Management at SGCI for several years, as well as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operations at Pizza Delight Corporation.  Studying to be a car engineer at General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan, led Craig to the sales and marketing departments of General Motors of Canada Ltd. and Honda Canada Inc. In 2005 he started his own restaurant investment company, West Avenue Investments Inc. Not only does Craig excel in the corporate world, he is also involved in a number of local sporting and arts activities.


 

Amanda Ehler, Account Coordinator

Amanda’s strengths lie in organization. She is able to coordinate various projects at the same time giving each the needed attention. She can provide guidance within various programs and tasks and is crucial to the execution of Son’s communications work. 

After graduating from Mount Allison University in 2006 Amanda started working for Son Group in the fall of 2006. She manages the web presence of all Son companies, coordinates Son Communication clients, the prospecting program, and coordinates our non-profit organization A Little Good News Today. Amanda is active in both the Sackville and Mount Allison communities.


 

Lois Wood, Executive Assistant

Lois excels in executions. Meaning, she is able to take a project and run with it. One of her strengths is working with and compiling information systems. Lois is detail oriented and focuses on what needs to be done. 

Lois worked for many years as an Executive assistant at Atlantic Wholesalers and at Loblaws Properties Construction Division as the Fixturing Manager. She moved to be the Account Assistant at SGCI, and in 2005 joined the Son team where she’s been an indispensable part of the team. Lois is involved in her community and spends time with her husband, their children and grandchildren.
